The Geeks Shall Inherit the Earth

Is it a bad thing to be on the Internet a lot? On the BBC Newsnight program on January 12 2007, business correspondent Paul Mason, alluding to Matthew 5:5, concluded:

"All ye who pity those lost in the depths of the Internet world, maybe you'd better think again – for lo, it has been written, blogged and instant-messaged: the geeks shall inherit the earth."
