Why make the movie The Four Feathers?

To tell a story about a man in search of himself through this great adventure and an the end come back to a man who has discovered himself. And in discovering yourself lies wisdom, and in wisdom lies true strength. So, actually, in an act of perceived cowardess – the result of which was that the man discovered wisdom and therefore true courage. Because true courage is not the ability to face death. True courage is the ability to face life.
