The Importance of Education

Sometimes scenes are deleted from the theatrical release of a movie, even though they are worthy of being captured on film. I enjoy watching outtakes, as occasionally there are some memorable lines which the director deemed superfluous or unnecessary to the progression of the story, but which still are good lines. In Elisabeth – The Golden Age, starring Cate Blanchett as the queen of England, Sir Walter Raleigh, played by Clive Owen, in a deleted scene with her Majesty's principal secretary, Walsingham, played by Geoffrey Rush, delivers the following statement:
"You think I am a cynical adventurer with little breeding and less education. You're wrong; I am a cynical adventurer with little breeding and an excellent education."
